Plans: 1. Fab the muffler mount. Status: 75% complete. The mount has to hold the muffler at the correct angle both horizontally and vertically. Figuring out the correct angles took most of the day. Eventually I settled on the shape and cut the pieces out of 1/4" aluminum. I bolted and welded the two pieces together. The result is fairly good however the supporting band clamp is not as firm as I had hoped. I will need to add another support to the mount to finalize the assembly. Also there are no pre-made bends that turn tight enough in the front to connect the pipes. I will need to get a professional to weld something custom.
