Plans: 1. Install Seat Belts. Status: About 30% complete. I decided to switch gears a bit and install the seat belts before the equipment tray and storage bin. If I did those first it would be more difficult to do the belts. The locations of the straps are determined by slots cut into the seat and turtle deck. Using the recommended connection location and angles for the belts gives the safest performance. The seat had preexisting slots that I used. For the shoulders, I cut slots in the turtle deck and also provided cable guides in the rear supports. The guides will prevent a cable connecting the belts to the tail post from cutting into the wood. It remains to adjust and secure everything.
