Plans: 1. Apply a third coat of white paint to the lower wings. Status: Complete. With two coats of white the coverage was still a bit uneven. I added a third coat and now it looks uniformly white. 2. Add bias tapes to the center section's trailing edge. Status: Complete. Due to the thickness of the center section's trailing edge I needed to make custom bias tapes. Using a large section of scrap fabric, I made diagonal cuts to rotate the weave 45 degrees. This allows the tape to stretch into the scalloped T.E.. If there is a next time I will do this in the future for the wings. The store bought bias tape is very expensive. It turned out that I only cut short sections for each scallop. I could have easily done this with waste fabric from covering the wings.
