Brief Description: Left & Right Lower Wing Root Fairing & Covering
Plans: 1. Drill holes for rib fabric reinforcements. Status: Complete. All rivet holes were drilled on both top and bottom sides for the rib reinforcing tapes and rivets. 2. Cover the right wing L.E. with felt. Status. Complete. As with the left wing the leading edge of the right wing was covered with felt. The first layer of two adhesive coats was applied as well. 3. Cover the left lower wing with fabric. Status: Started. Moving back to the left wing the lower fabric was glued at the leading edge. It will be pulled and glued into place next session. 4. Do an engine run-up. Status. Complete. A 5 minute run-up of the engine was performed to keep the internals coated with oil. I do this monthly.
