Brief Description: Lower Left Wing Root Fairing & Covering
Plans: 1. Add mounting points to root farings. Status: Complete. Plate nuts were added top and bottom to each fairing. Additionally, slots for a hose clamp were cut. The hose clamp permits attaching to the wing spar without rivets. 2. Cover the root end of the wing. Status: Complete. 3: Add felt to the top surfaces. Status: 90% complete. Felt overlayment was added on the wing's leading edge and step. The first of two coats of cement were applied. The felt smooths joints and covers any imperfections.
