Plans: 1. Cover the right upper wing. Status: 65% complete. Fabric for the bottom surface has been riveted in place. The Bottom rivets have been covered with 2" surface tapes. Prior to applying the tapes I elected to do a final shrink at 300 degrees F. I want the fabric as tight as possible without distorting the frame. Videos from others suggest that their fabric was fluttering in flight at 250 degrees. Well I managed to distort the frame at the root's trailing edge. So there will now be a gap when joined with the center section. Had I known the frame couldn't take the stress I probably would not have shrunk it as much. Oh well, it is a significant one week do-over or accept it as-built and seal the gap some other way. I think I will accept the as-built condition and deal with the gap later.
