Plans: 1. Assemble the left upper wing. Status: 98% complete. The flashing along the top leading edged has been secured in place. Unfortunately I have run out of rivets so it could not be riveted to the ribs today. I was promised replacement 1/8" rivets from Fastenal which did not arrive as scheduled. So all wing work has basically stopped. I plan to rivet the flashing to the ribs with the wing installed and rigged in place. This is to insure it is held in the same shape as it would be when finally installed. At the moment they are held by ratchet clamps. If I were to do this on the bench any warping or other shape issue would be locked in once riveted. One assembly note. I made the mistake of building one long flashing section to mount versus mounting the three sections separately. This proved to be very difficult to rivet correctly. Flashing for the other wings will be riveted in sections.
