Plans: 1. Continue fabrication of the upper wing airfoils. Status. Now that the ribs are complete I shifted back to working the center wing. It has seven airfoils. I completed the assembly of four today. The center wing has two complications. First, there is the need to build larger gussets for the airfoils on the outside edges. One is the mirror image of the other. The larger gusset allows you to cut a passage for the lift tangs without losing strength. Second, the center section will provide hand holds in the middle. To do so requires tailoring airfoils into a box shape with a gripping area. I intend to build the entire center wing without the box first to ensure the shape is correct. I will also add reinforcements to the sides to prevent distortion of the ribs as the fabric covering shrinks.
