Brief Description:  Cabanes

Plans:
1. Level the wings:
Status: Complete. I re-leveled all the wings and verified all dimensions. The dimensional errors I found were about 1/32" off. I considered re-trimming the wing combination but decided against it. I don't see how the errors found could cause the observed front to back alignment issue. I suspect there is simply a small skew in placing the upper wing that is not in the lower wing. Tweaking the skew seems to have improved the visual alignment. That said a level still shows what appears to be an offset top to bottom implying the fuselage is not square. This seems to be the only possibility left. Measuring the diagonals shows things are pretty damn close so I will let it go. Any attempt to "fix" things will likely be futile since I couldn't find a definitive issue.
2. Start cabane installation:
Status: Started. The front two cabanes have been coped in to place. There is no guidance on a specific placement so adjustment may be indicated as I build the other cabanes. I used a drum sander to cope the cabanes a little at a time until they fit. I takes a while but appears to do a better job than hacking at it with a hole saw.
