Plans: 1. Add markings to the instrument panels. Status: Complete. There are probably a number of ways to identify the switches etc. of the instrument panel. But professional results require tools and money. I looked into various ways to do this and decided custom decals would be an acceptable way to go. But I stumbled on to an affordable alternative a few weeks ago. I discovered the technology exists to make custom stencils from adhesive backed vinyl. Somewhat similar to silk screening, So, with stencils in hand, I hand painted the markings onto the panels. A computer controlled cutting tool, the Silhouette Portrait 2 was used to make the stencils. While not perfect the overall finished product looks reasonably professional. 2. Add markings to the circuit breaker panel. Status: Complete.
