Plans: 1. Install firewall. Status: It turns out the initial placement was spot on. Not much to do. I will be adding a series of plate nuts across the top for mating the top panel. One other thing I am finishing up is the install of the fuel spout. Now that the firewall is placed the height of the spout is being lowered to match the fuselage height better. 2. Fabricate fuselage side panels. Status: Right panel has been cut to fit. The mounting holes still need to be drilled to match-fit the plate nuts. Fortunately the left panel should be a near duplicate by using the right panel as a template. Doors will be placed in the side panels to provide access to the fuel shut-off valve and inspection.
