Plans: 1. Fabricate and install the forward section of the turtle deck. Status: I fabbed the turtle deck section from some 0.020 AL and installed it. Unfortunately I came to the conclusion the material was not strong enough to hold its shape well. So I trashed it. I will redo this next session from some 0.032 stock. 2. Install the plate nut strips. Status: About half of the strips were installed. These strips provide the means to secure the cockpit side panels to the fuselage.
