Plans: 1. Modify the bracket that mounts the vertical stabilizer. Status: Complete. I learned that in the good old Fokker days the vertical stabilizer was sometimes offset from the centerline to provide some fixed rudder trim. I thought that was an interesting approach as opposed to adding a trim tab. I realized my bracket that connects the vertical stabilizer to the fuselage could be modified slightly to do the same thing. By splitting the bracket into two pieces it would be easier to assemble the system but also allow rudder trimming. The result is also sturdier than the earlier bracket.
