Plans: 1. Rework the engine compartment cover paint. Status: 50% complete. I stripped and sanded the ruined paint on the cover and applied three primer coats. 2. Create a grip area behind the pilot seat to aid cockpit entry. Status: Complete. I noticed there was a consistent need for a hand-hold area behind the cockpit to aid entering. Once covered the area currently being used would go away. For that reason I decided that a small grip area with a spring loaded cover would be a nice addition before covering. The spring loaded door moves out of the way to allow you to insert your hand while climbing in.
