Plans: 1. Build the transponder harness. Status: 80% complete. The transponder harness interconnects the Trig transponder to the Trig GPS and Trig control head. The Trig bundle includes their install/connector kit. The connectors supplied however assume you have a rather expensive crimp tool. I do not. So I needed to buy alternate connectors with solder cups to build the harness. Solder cup contacts are not considered as reliable as crimp pins. The thinking is that the solder creates a stress riser at the joint. That is probably not an issue here given the use of a backshell and shrink tubing that add some stiffness and support.
