Brief Description:  Junction Panel

Plans:
1: Install Junction Panel.
Status: 80% Complete. Most of the cockpit instruments connect to 12VDC and Ground. To help keep things from becoming a rat's nest and facilitate switching I added a junction box to the right side. It contains power bus bars for the Avionics 12VDC and Ground. I also have a 10 position terminal strip for the sensors to connect.
I decided to split the 12VDC into separate Main and Avionics buses. Everything it takes to run the engine is on the Main bus. Everything else is powered from the Avionics bus. That way I can switch off non-essential systems in an emergency without losing the engine. Switching the Main power switch turns the engine systems on and power to the Avionics switch. Turning the Avionics switch on will get everything else powered.
The front panel will have switches for... Lighting, Fuel Pumps A & B, Alternator Field Disconnect, Main Power, Avionics Power and ignition.
