Given the engine looks good I moved on to the prop. The prop installed is a 80" diameter 44" pitch prop from Culver Props. Test results imply that this large prop is difficult for the engine to spin. I spoke with Culver Props and learned that they had not actually spoke with Aeromomentum about the best prop for my engine. I also spoke with Aeromomentum and learned that they actually had never tested this engine with a Culver prop. Mark had led me to believe they had when I spoke with him originally with no problems. Basically the initial prop selection was based on no actual information just a guess by Culver.
Culver stepped up and offered to make a new prop for free to make it up to me. A year later, yes a year, I received my replacement prop. Culver deliveries are unfortunately a year long. So order early.
