Plans. 1. Relocate the oil cooler. Status: 50% Complete. The majority of the cooler mount has been fabricated. Basically a series of trial fits and adjustments until a workable solution was achieved. The only issue at the moment is the routing of the hoses. I had hoped to have a one very short hose from the filter as the distance between the nipples was only about 6 inches. After constructing the hose it proved too rigid and pre-loaded the cooler nipples. My concern is that under engine vibration the cable would fatigue the fittings and eventually leak or break. To resolve the concern I needed to make two long hoses and lower the cooler in the mount. The long hoses will flex easily. The downside is that the cooler needs to be lower than it would have been with a short hose. Some trimming of the mount and plenum construction to go.
