Plans: 1. Install the louvers. Status. Complete. Behind each louver I cut out a small section of the cover to allow the air to pass. The louver was sized to overlap the cutout and achieve a finished look. In addition I bent each inside lip of the cutout 90 degrees along the two long edges to add some rigidity. Seems to work as hoped. Fokkers traditionally had lot of louvers on the sides so this addition also adds to an authentic look. 2. Add a air blower behind the radiator. Status: I completed a bracket that ties to the oil cooler mount. The fan will be automatically switched on/off using a thermal sensor placed in-line with the radiator hose similar to a car set-up. Unfortunately this means opening the cooling system and making a wet mess.
