Brief Description:  Add Louvers to Engine Compartment Sides

Plans:
The engine runs hot at idle (210 degrees). My plan to fix this is to make three changes. First, add additional louvers to the sides of the engine compartment. Second, add a blower fan behind the radiator to increase airflow and push hot air out of the compartment. And third, wrap lava rock insulating tape amount the exhaust header pipes.

1. Add cooling louvers/vents to the engine compartment sides.
Status: 50% complete. I purchased a Jeep louver kit from Rod Louvers. This kit featured their largest 5" louver cuts. The two panels were cut and tailored into four smaller panels wasting one vent in the process. After trimming I drilled 1/8" holes around the perimeter to allow me to rivet the panels in place.
