Brief Description:  Propeller Safety Wire

Plans:
1. Perform a run-up at 1200 RMP and check temperatures.
Status: Complete. I decided a quick check of temperatures at a slightly higher RPM would tell me more about the temperature stability. It did. The temperature sticker on the radiator creeped up a bit. This suggests that the thermostat is fully opened. It also indicated about ten degrees hotter on the instruments than the sticker. The same as before. The oil sticker continues to indicate 20 degrees cooler than the instrument suggests.
2. Replace the prop lugs with a longer version.
Status: Not done. I had planned to replace the prop lugs with longer ones. The original ones were intentionally cut short to aid installation as recommended by Aeromomentum. It turns out they were right. The new lugs interfere with the prop hub backside and cannot be inserted. I did not know how long they would be from the factory so I thought I would give it a try.
3. Add safety wire to the prop bolts.
Status: Complete. The bolts used to hold the extension and prop were not drilled for safety wire. I replaced them today with the correct hardware and wired them.
