Plans: 1. Continue the backup battery installation. Status. 50% complete. Today I installed the 2 AWG battery wires between the tail and cockpit control switch and battery. Everything checked out OK and now waiting on a battery size decision. A small concern at the moment is the bolt attaching the cables to the battery post. It is now a little short. A longer brass bolt (only available from China) is on order and will be here in a month or so. 2. Cover the push-pull aileron cable arms located in the cockpit floor. Status 75% complete. The arms were completely exposed to damage caused by an inadvertent foot placement. This cover prevents any accidental contact. I also noted that it makes a nice spot to put my required EXPERIMENTAL decal.
