Plans: 1. Add the TPS cover to the engine compartment door. Status: Complete. The cover turned out a little oversized. It turns out that the sidewall puckers a bit so the depth of the cover was double that required once installed. I also applied a thin layer of JB-Weld to the external surface of the cover to hide the sharp edges. 2. Create a clean seam where the doors come together in the engine compartment. Status: Complete. Simply overlaying the two sheets of AL leaves a bulging joint at the seam. To clean it up I added a stacked ribbon of AL to hide the gap. A similar ribbon was added to the right side for a uniform look. The lower sheet tucks under the stacked ribbon before being screwed in place.
