Plans: 1. Create a cover to replace the hammered blister that provides space for the protruding TPS. Stratus: 75% complete. As was the case with the old engine compartment cover some additional space is needed to accommodate the throttle position sensor (TPS). It sticks about a half inch beyond the sidewall. I had hammered a blister in the old cover to create the space. That technique however caused severe distortion in the panel such that it fit poorly. In this go round I decided to simply create a cover that I can rivet in place over a cutout. In theory the blister would have been more streamlined but my skills were not up to the task. This approach will fit nicer but be a little less visually appealing.
