Plans: 1. Add a hinge to the engine compartment cover. Status: I have added and removed the engine compartment cover many many times. It is large a bulky and frankly a pain in the ass. I decided it would be far more convenient to add hinges to the cover and simply open the bay using the new door versus removing the cover entirely. I have tried to reuse material at hand to make the changes. Unfortunately I found that the blister for the TPS is creating a problem. The top surface of the cover has flattened. It is being distorted too much to hold the old shape. So the blister needs to go. 2: Add guards to the circuit breaker panel. Status: I have been bothered that the circuit breakers for the fuel pumps are not guarded from inadvertent activation/deactivation. So I have wanted to add guards to the switches but the space was too limited for guards similar to that of the master switch. I searched and found these really nice retro wire guards which might work. I received them yesterday and the initial test fits looks promising. (www.PerihelionDesign.com)
