Plans: 1. Continue the cowl fabrication. Status: 90% complete. Bonding of the airflow block for the upper cowl is complete and the assembly painted. A four inch hole for passing the propeller extension has been cut as well as cuts to create a removable panel. The panel is required to make the cowl removable without removing the propeller. Plate nuts will be added next session. 2. Engine test run. Status: Complete. I run the engine for about 30 seconds once a month to keep things lubricated. Today was that day. It fired up quickly and sounded great with the muffler attached.
