Plans: 1. Fabricate the exhaust bracket. Status: Complete. The individual pieces of the bracket were fitted together and held temporarily with tape. Aviation friend Martin offered to weld the parts together for me. After tac-welding the parts on the air vehicle the assembly was moved to the bench for finishing. Martin finished the part with a hand file. The finished assembly was reassembled into the air vehicle. Note that the clamps for the ball joint have been removed. The recommendation from Aeromomentum is that the joint should be loose to prevent cracking the welds of the exhaust header. While the joint feels tight a noticeable amount of exhaust gas was still able to leak. So this solution is a compromise.
