Plans: 1. Measure the propeller flange. Status: Complete. In preparation for ordering the extension for the propeller hub I needed to get the dimensions of the mounting flange. There are several bolt patterns to choose from. The propeller will be SAE 1. The extension must have the pattern for the prop on one end and the engine on the other. 2. Check dimensions for muffler brace. Status: Complete. Some additional bracing is desired for the muffler pipe. I decided that adding a point to weld to would be necessary. So I am adding some steel bolted to the engine block near where the pipes connect to the header. 3. Add additional coolant to the engine. Status: Complete. With the cowl off, the radiator outlet was exposed. This afforded the opportunity to add more coolant to the radiator with the engine off. Purging the cooling system of air will take several heat cycles.
