Brief Description: Fuel Valve and Filter Support Brackets
Plans: 1. Support the fuel filter and opposite end of the rigid pipe with brackets. Status. Complete. I received two 2-inch bar clamps yesterday. These clamps will mate to the fuel tank's two inch outlet pipe to support new mounting surfaces. The first surface is being used to support the tank end of the fuel valve's rigid pipe. The second clamp is being used to support the fuel filter.These clamps bite into the tank's outlet surface a bit so I am wondering if over time it might induce a leak. Both are made of aluminum with a large surface area and the masses involved are small. So I am thinking it will be OK. It's something to watch.
