Plans: 1. Assemble and install the airfoils. Status: Airfoils for the right lower wing have been assembled and temporarily installed. I am trying to get a sense for the best spacing. The plans call out 10 inches on center. That works until you get to the root end. There is potential interference with the lift cables. I also need to address the root airfoil's connection to the spars. It will interfere with the slip joint of the spars if riveted in place. I will probably treat these the same as the upper wing and use a different gusset arrangement.
