Plans: 1. Continue fabrication of trim plates for the lower cabane ends. Status: About 90% complete. I have returned to where I left off after attending SUN-n-FUN. The trim plates were rough fitted using masking tape. Cut outs were made based on the tape outlines and plate nut for mounting them have been installed. Everything is now reassembled using the aluminum trim plates. It appears that some additional fitting is still required in a few areas but they look reasonably good at this point. I still need to add some means to hold the longer ends. Once the screws are tightened they tend to shift position.
In addition to the cabanes, a section of the bonnet had to be removed to allow for passage of the cabane rigging. The removed section was retooled to serve as a trim plate and reinstalled with plate nuts to close the opening.
