Plans: 1. Continue center section fabrication. Status: About 90% done. I reinstalled the center section to regain the alignment of the compression struts. I also needed to fit surrounds to each cabane. After getting the alignment back I riveted the aileron stiffeners on the lower side. They will hold things in place while the top stiffeners are reinstalled. Fitting the surrounds was a long iterative trial fit & trim process. Eventually I had things more or less nominal. I am uncertain however if more work (enlargement) will be necessary to improve access to the hardware for installation. I am also considering adding plate nuts to the openings to allow for the addition of more fitted covers in the future.
