Plans: 1. Fab and mate a top cover to the firewall and instrument panel. Status: Started. The addition of plate nuts to the top of the firewall allowed for securing the top cover. I cut the future T/C from some new 0.020 stock. The supplied stock was slightly small to overlap the longerons and be secured via screws. I should be able to reuse the A/A supplied sheet elsewhere.
Forming the T/C is a little tricky. Passage for the Cabanes is required as well as bending the edges down in exactly the right spot.
