Plans: 1. Finish landing gear assembly. Status: About half completed. Today I was able to assemble the legs using the gussets. I also trimmed the gussets to look better when assembled. They were slightly oversized. There was one minor mishap in that I inadvertently swapped one of the small gussets (front to rear) on one leg. The result is not as visually appealing but probably won’t be noticed by anyone. A quick test fit shows that the legs are perfectly spaced. The coped joints don't look too bad either.
Prior to today’s effort I was able to prep and paint the legs at home. That gave them about a week to dry.
