Plans: 1. Complete the horizontal stabilizer. Status: Complete.
Today I was able to assemble the horizontal stabilizer. I needed to do this prior to finishing the rear fuselage ribs. The H.S. ribs need to parallel the longerons such that they can be mated properly. The fuselage will be tailored to the same shape. The only issues here was that the coped joints separated somewhat during riveting where tube diameters were different. Structurally it is not a concern but I would have preferred a tighter joint.
