Plans: Join Tailpost and start Horizontal Stabilizer assembly.
Status: The tailpost of the fuselage needs to be perpendicular to the top surface. This is accomplished using a simple jig to hold it in place while the rivets are installed. But once the jig is removed there is some spring back. So it is not precisely perpendicular. I installed the rudder to see how it will look. It looks pretty good. Not perfect but good. Good enough not to attempt a correction. On to the Horizontal Stab.
To finish the fuselage build it must be shaped to mate with the as-built Horizontal Stabilizer. So I have started assembling the stabilizer. The first step is to loft the drawing onto the workbench. Done. Next comes forming the tubes. I was able to do the first bent by creating a small disc to create the proper radius.
