Status: Complete. Using the Dremel tool all protruding spokes were ground down. Added 22mm Velox rim tape and rubber liner to eliminate any change of tube puncture. Mounted the tire and inflated.
This is the second wheel. learning from the first wheel found that the only way I could get everything together in alignment was as follows:
a. Install tube into tire and inflate. This located the tube comfortably in the tire. b. Remove valve fill and deflate tube. c. Using tire iron and clamp, workthe first tire edge and tube onto rim with valve located over hole. d. Screw valve into hole to jeep it firmly in position. e. Work next tire edge onto the rim using iron. Use the wood clamp to hold tire in place as you progress around the wheel.
