Brief Description: Redesign of the wiring of the trim motor
I wondered why the cables are coming out of the left side of the trim motor. This is where the flanges are mounted and if you ever have to change the trim motor, you will definetly rupture those wires. Thats why I opened the trim motor case and checked if I can redesing the wiring.
Just a little #21 hole on the top side and a little countersinking and the new desing was ready to be tested.
It fits perfect and the old wiring outlet was filled with 3M SCOTCH-WELD to reduce/eliminate the risk of water entering the case.
