Brief Description: First Time working in the shop - Toolbox Project
Today I used for the first time the tools I bought a couple month ago. I started with the toolbox project from Vans.
The deburing, drilling and dimpling was fine.
I had my problems with the riveting...since the toolbox can not be attached properly it moved out of position during riveting. I had 3-4 rivets which were not nice. There was also not enough space to keep the flush rivet set in proper position. So I had to rivet on the edge of the flush rivet set and the rubber protector made it almost impossible to have a proper alignement.
I will try to do it better on the next practice project.
