Today I was able to prepe the back bulkhead for primer. It was cleaned with alumiprep 33 and a scotchbrite pad. I will be ready to prime them tomorrow and begin riviting it together. I was able to get the bracket that holds the Tail tie down in place from the machine shop. It came out nice. However, it looked like it was drilled on the wrong side of the block originally and tapped. The mistake was realised and the the threads were removed and is was re drilled and tapped on the correct side. I am going to get concourance with vans. But I think that it will be ok. This is not a piece that is necessary for flight and the area around the Tie down still has plenty of material.
