The skybolt mounts went in perfectly but...... It seems that the honeycomb that Vans uses to add strength comes down a little too far on the sides to use the skybolt mount, at least with the amount of material that I ended up removing to fit the cowl. I am sure that if I had understood the impacts better I could have planned this and not run into the problem. Oh well I will use the Vans method of mounting the cowl on the sides.
