Titan engine recommends using the larger 20006 oil cooler from Vans. Unfortunately this requires mounting the oil cooler on the firewall and directing air to it through a 4 inch duct. I cant find a spot on the firewall to mount the oil cooler that I like. I was looking for a solution on the internet when I ran across the Showplanes website. They have a mount that attaches to the engine mount for the RV-8 that looks pretty good, Unfortunately its designed for an angle valve engine, mine is a parallel valve. The baffling is different I talked to Bryan at Showplanes and we discussed several options and with some modifications he felt it would work. I received it today and test mounted it on the engine. It definitly looks like it should work out with a little modification to the fiberglass duct. Certainly way better than running a 4 inch duct!. I really like the construction, very simple. It mounts very solidly.
