Spencer and I were able to move the Rotax from the shipping crate to a work table. Gave crate away to neighbors.
Begain working on the inital steps for the engine prep. Adjusted the position of the coolant opening. Also marked and disconnected the ignition plugs per the plans. Changed a bolt on the back of engine and removed an extra clamp and bushing. Removed the cover on the back of the engine to measure the starter coils with a feeler guage. Both ones I measured appeared within specs. Used torque wrench wherever I needed to. Did a few other items and made some progress. So far so good.
