Spent a long day fitting and installing the tailcone fairing to the aircraft. Installed the horizonal stabilator as well as the rudder to the tailcone which took a lot of time and was not easy doing by myself. Tailcone fairing seemed to fit really well, but after it was final drilled to tailcone, I had some rubbing on the stabilator which required me to do some trimming and sanding to fix. Finished afternoon by installing the 12 nutplates to the tailcone to attach the fairings. Also removed the V-stab, rudder and the stabilator.
Also primed the oil door parts.
Good separation betwen upper fairing and the rudder.
Tailcone looking more complete
Finished tailcone fairing. Still need to drill hold in bottom.
