Brief Description:  Short week

We were winding down on things left to do on the fuselage, so it was difficult to accomplish as much as normal. The pedals are in, the brake lines hooked up, and most of the fuel system is in. Lots of little items were finished.

Thursday was painting day for the interior. We only painted those areas that will not be covered by the seats, carpets, and side panels. Rodney Mead, who runs an aircraft paint shop on OVO, volunteered to come and shoot the finish coat. It was good to have someone who knoew what they were doing! None of us did. If you need aircraft painting, I can recommend him (contact me for contact info.)

Next week we will finish a few samll things, take the wings and tail to Rodney. Four of the students will get lessons in aircraft painting and prep work. Again, it is really good to see the community support our efforts in bringing aviation to a whole new generation!
