We have had the hottest weather in Indiana history these past couple of weeks, and we literally could not work, except... There is one air-conditioned hangar on OVO, and the owner (a life-line helicopter operation) gave us free reign. We were able to do all those final things we needed to do. Painting was another problem. It was too hot to paint (100-106*) but the paint shop somehow came through. It will need some re-doing, but it is acceptable for Oshkosh.
At present, we are waiting for th canopy to dry, and are doing our testing open-canopy! It works.
We are leaving for Oshkosh next week, and barring some unforseen problem, EN-1, now registered as N901EN, will be there. Inspection is Monday morning, and we will be flying off the hours and tests in the next few days. We have several pilots lined up.
