Tuesday we had seven students, and we made good progress. I hadn't planned on getting the tailcone on until Thursday, but with an hour to go, our Project Manager said we were ready. With a big crew, it went on quite easily, and the fit was just fine. The tailcone was dusty from being in the storage building for about six monts, but Thursday we cleaned it thoroughly. Note that we have not riveted on the top tailcone skin to allow access for installing the rudder cables, etc.
Thursday finished riveting the joint and test fit the rear window, and two teams started on the fuel system and the pedals/brakes. We did have one "tester" try the pilot's seat. I think she was pretty pleased. So was I...
