Brief Description:  Good progress!

We had a great week! We had seven students Tuesday and 6 today. Tuesday the Freshman group completed their first component, the left flaperon. I think they were pretty proud! We also bent the longerons and did some "catch-up" work on various small parts.

Today we made real progress on the fuselage, and the second flaperon was started. About the only problem was drilling the stainless balance tube in the flaperon. The roll bar was test fitted, and it went together really well. Things are looking good.

Tuesday we are hosting a group from the FAA, coming both to look at our project and to talk to the students. I expect it to be an important session. We will be having pizza after the work session and during the time when the FAA presents their program.
