Hundreds of people saw the workmanship and skill this group of kids has managed to put together in six short weeks. The most common comment was, "Wow!" There was a sign on the VS saying, "Teaching: Teamwork, Leadership, Craftsmanship, Pride" When I got there, probably a half-dozen of the kids were polishing the sides of the fuselage. No one told them to do this. I can see that the last item is catching on. We received several nice donations. The superintendent seemed impressed. The whole school was really decked out for the event, and the Eagle's Nest Project did not let it down. I (Bob Kelly) was both proud and pleased.
