Again this is a consolidation of more than a weeks efforts. " On average " 5 hours a day +/-. After moving the top left Wing to the table I checked every glue joint and repaired any that appeared weak or were broken. Next all of the surfaces that will touch fabric were sanded with 340 grit. The complete Wing was blown free of dust. Construction of a "rotation frame" was completed in a couple of hours and the Wing was mounted on that frame. Before doing this I added a "bubble" on the outer Wing bow about a third of the way back from the leading edge that may or may not be a mount for running lights - should I decide to add them. I drilled a hole in the middle of that "bubble" and it provided a "pivot-point" to mount the wing on the rotation frame without overstressing the Wing Bow. I felt it was too thin and weak to handle the load without re-inforcement. Fabric was then measured, cut and applied to all outside edges - i.e. root end rib, Aileron bay inside surface inner and outer, forward surface of the Aileron Bay the the Aileron pivots inside of. Fabric was then measured, cut and applied to the bottom of the Wing. Then the top of the Wing was covered leaving the rear loose until the Aileron was installed in this Wing. All the surfaces were then closed and sealed. I am using the Steward System and find it very easy to work with and very solid adheasion. The Wng Ribs were then "stitched" at recommended spacing. Tapes were added to all surfaces with contact below them. All edges were gone over for seal and the first brush coat of Ecko Fill was applied with two coats (1 cross coat). The only thing that remains here is to sand the surfaces - very carefully - and apply two more cross coats of Fill. I intend to do that with White Ecko Fill to accept the yellow color better.
